This week we have been learning about the Olympics in Topic
and we were finding lots of information about different sports.
In Maths, we have been doing addition and Mr Edney has been
teaching us loads of interesting ways to do addition and we have been doing
word problems and doing posters on Column Addition.
Also in English, we have been focussing on Adventure Stories
and reading Stories and trying to find the Adverbs and Adverbial Phrases and
our homework is a two week project and we are writing an Adventure story.
In French we have been learning about the parts of our body
and doing head shoulders knees and toes.
In P.E we have been doing Cricket/ Rounder’s and doing batting
and we are going to start doing our bowling soon and we are practising for
sports day.
In Art, we have been doing pictures with pastilles of people
from the Olympics and we were doing movement.
In Science, we have been learning about plants and Mr Edney
took the leaves off one of the three plants and after a few months we are going
to compare them. We have done some
investigations and left some plants to see if it grow even more.
